Great location at the central square, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, giant room wit A/C, sofa and bathtub. If they had elevator, they could easily have more than two stars.

Osijek is a charming city with relaxing atmosphere, rich history, beautiful architecture, stunning Cathedral. We enjoyed the walk along the river, though the fortress (Tvrđa) could be better maintained.

Very spacious and historic city with lots of parks and beautiful old buildings. It's positioned on a big river Drava which is in itself beautiful with lots of nice spots to sit down and chill with lovely views.

My hometown so bit biased but Osijek and Slavonia have lot to offer. Great fiery food, excellent wine, amazing cycling routes and nice scenery. Osijek is perfect for unspoiled city break. Visiting in April and May is probably the best as it’s extremely hot during summer.

We had a great experience at Apartment Bloom, the host was easy to communicate with, he even provided us with a parking permit at a nearby parking garage. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent, too.

A beautiful city by the Drava River, featuring many excellent restaurants and bars, stunning large parks, and the longest river promenade in Europe (12 km), allowing for days of walking. It is close to the Kopački Rit Nature Park, a protected nature reserve in Baranja. Bicycles are very popular in the city, with numerous cycling trails both within and around the city. The city offers rental services for city bikes and scooters. It is a great city to visit and spend 7 days for a relaxing break.

Very nice zoo - located on the other side of Drava river than the downtown. You can reach it by foot - using a pedestrian bridge - or get a barge that goes to and from the zoo every hour free of charge.
Good bakeries, especially the private ones at Franje Kuhaca street in the Tvrda part of the town - I recommend burek s visnjom (sweet cherry pie).
The city is not overcrowded :)
If you have a car you need to visit:
Kopacki Rit nature park - 11km away - wildlife park with hundreds of birds, boat trip and walking lanes available
Vukovar memorial site - 37 km away - a memorial area in a tower aboutb the Yugoslav war and the siege of Osijek
Ilok - 70km away - high quality home mande sweet wines - similar to Tokaji wines from Hungary

It was our second visit in the hotel in a year time. Nice room, kind staff, especially Goran at the front desk. Excellent restaurant “Zimska luka”, the dinner there was very delicious. Kind waiter with “white hair”. Good breakfast. Convenient parking. Nice zoo in Osijek and wonderful park alleys.
Amazing place in Osijek! Super clean, great location with all amenities included. Easy communication and check in, everything you could need is at hand, very thoughtfully organised. Free parking, market, bakery and coffee bar just downstairs. Will definitely return!
