The hotel notified us of an impending train strike and happily modified our arrival date. The property was unique and well designed. We were warmly greeted by staff and helped with any questions.

The hotel is incredibly clean and attractive. The bed was firm and comfortable. The windows opened generously in the room we had and the bathroom was nicely lit with a great waterfall shower. There is a solid buffet breakfast and the hotel is literally 100 steps from the Delft train station and five minutes to the old city.

In general I like this hotel a lot. The downstairs lobby bar is a great place to hang out and get some work done, or have a meeting. There's also an upstairs "coworking space" that's quiet. I've never eaten in the restaurant here so can't comment on the food. Location is right off the main highway.

Delft is a picturesque Dutch city with canals and historic buildings, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. Birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, this destination is also home to the iconic Delft blue porcelain and the University of Technology.
Like a phoenix from the ashes, the 17th century Town Hall of Delft was destroyed on 1618 and rebuilt by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. Located across from the City Hall in the centre of the Market square, the Protestant church of Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) with the imposing tower is connected with the Dutch Royal Family.
Resting place for Piet Hein, Maarten Tromp and Johannes Vermeer, the Oude Kerk (Old Church) was built in 1240 and is one of the main landmarks of the city along with the Prinsenhof. Booking.com offers a variety of apartments and hotels in the centre of Delft.
The Delftware factories with the blue ceramics and the hand-painted porcelain are definitely something that travellers should not miss while visiting the Netherlands. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a local beer on a canal terrace.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 40 minutes away by car or public transport. Delft railway station has train connections to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Leiden.

Lovely old town with many canals and small local shops.
Lovely old town with many canals and small local shops. Peaceful. Has not yet been invaded by international brands. We enjoyed walking around, looking at old buildings, visiting the "new" church, climbing its tower, and buying antique Delft tiles. Quiet with no cars, as everybody rides bicycles.

Delft is a great historic city in the Netherlands that you simply have to visit. The size of the city center is walkable, pittoresque with canals with various places to dine at various budgets. Visit the antique market going on in summertime on saturdays. The prinsenhof, the old or the new church and the places that Vermeer saw while he was painting.

Delft is simply wonderful.
Delft is simply wonderful. Beautiful, relaxing, great restaurants and bars and a rich history. As a university city it is also lively without being too noisy at all. This was our second visit, we're already planning to go back

It's a beautiful location.
It's a beautiful location. Easy to get into Amsterdam and Roterdam by public transport. I used the OVPay app and swiped my debit card entering or leaving bus, tram or train and the app calculates the rate, it's very cheap! I didn't have much time exploring Delft, but we went to the petting farm and splashing area next to Delftse Hout and it was amazing. We tried to get into the Windmill de Ros but it was only open Thursday and Saturday afternoons. I wish I had more time to visit Delft.

Delft is the home of Vermeer and this is presented well at a first class exhibition at the back of the market square. Attractive walks around the old town. Canal cruise well executed and interesting. The Delft pottery factory is excellent and well worth a visit with a good restaurant on site. Hotel is easy walking distance of the modern Delft railway station.
Access to Delft is straightforward by Eurostar to Brussels with a change for Delft at Rotterdam.

It would be hard to find a better location than this canal side hotel on the Oude Delft, which is lined with 18th century buildings. Quieter than most central hotels but just around the corner from the best shops and restaurants and close to Markt and Stadthuis . Our junior suite had a superb view over two canals. The size was generous and offered very good value. Comfortable bed and good breakfast buffet. We were grateful for the fact that it offered secure bike storage in the centre of the city.
The hotel was perfectly positioned in a historic and beautiful square, close to many restaurants and shops plus the wonderful market.
The hotel decor was stunning.
The staff were wonderful- helpful and friendly.
The lady on reception when we arrived showed us where we could store our bikes nearby (Delft has several free, secure storage halls for bikes) and she also helped us carry our panniers up to our room!
Everything! Location to the center of town and train station. The view from my room was spectacular, and the view from the lobby/bar area over the pond was amazing. The room was silent, spotless, and peacefully simple. Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. When I forgot my charger, my cell phone was charged by the owners! I only wish every hotel stay was like the Delft Hampshire Hotel.
Stylish appartment in the city centre, nice view over the market, all sights and a lot of restaurants were easy to reach. Good breakfast in the Vermeer hotel around the corner with the possibility to sit on the boat - very nice.
Nice hotel a few minutes walk from the centre of Delft. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast. Good restaurant if you want to eat in. Prompt room service each morning.
